At B1 you could state a position. At B2 you have to hold one while somebody argues back, and that turns on a single move: grant their point, then keep your own.
German has three words for that move and they mean the same thing. What differs is the syntax, and getting the syntax wrong is what makes an otherwise good argument read as a beginner's.
